four-seasons-oolong-taiwan
Four Seasons Oolong

Tea gardens in Taiwan rarely have garden names; most of them belong to individuals – like Mr. Chen's garden. He sells small quantities of his great Four Seasons Oolong to selected retailers, and we're very happy to be one of them.

Taste

The Four Seasons Oolong stands out above all for its fairly light cup color and a light, refreshing character that shifts slightly toward earthy with longer infusions. Its texture is pleasantly soft and almost a little creamy. Fine palates will also pick out delicate floral notes here and there.

Origin

This top-quality tea comes from Mr. Chen's tea garden in the Taiwanese region of Nantou and is grown at an altitude of about 350 meters. The tea plants it's made from are known for their consistent quality all year round. That's why the Taiwanese call this tea Si Ji (四季) – "four seasons" in English.

Origin: Ming Jan, Nantou, Taiwan

Tea garden: Mr. Chen

Altitude: approx. 350 m

Cultivar: Si Ji Chun (四季春)

Oxidation: 15–20%

Caffeine: medium

Preparation

You can infuse the Four Seasons Oolong up to four times.
